Brit. Museum Ethnic Art
If you're interested in ethnic art, such as Kaipel Ka's painted metal shield, the British Museum's Department of Africa, Oceania and the Americas is the place to visit. Entry to the British Museum is free, except for those big one-off exhibitions that draw in the crowds. Believe me, there is enough in that building to keep you gawking for a month without queuing to pay admission fees. It also has its own art gallery; use the rear entrance and climb the stairs to find it.
