Daily Encounters

On 5 July the National Portrait Gallery in London opens the Getty Images archives for an exhibition of British Press photography: Daily Encounters: Photographs from Fleet Street. This is the first exhibition of its kind by a major gallery and should prove interesting. Find it in the Porter Gallery. At £5, admission is middling, but at £4 or £4.50 "concessions" it's diabolical, especially when the Gallery publicized concessions at £3.50.
