Women Impressionists

A note for next year's diary, if you admire female impressionists: the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt, Germany, will be showing Women Impressionists: Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Eva González and Marie Bracquemon from 22 February to 1 June 2008. This is a biggie, with "some 160 works from international museums and private collections...". Mary Cassatt's Two Sisters (1896) is a fine example. If only it weren't so impressionistic!
