From Russia On Again

Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin - Bathing of a Red Horse (1912)BBC News has been listening to Echo Moscow radio and heard a spokesman for Russia's culture agency state that a licence for export will be issued for the From Russia exhibits, thanks to yesterday's change in English law. Yet again the Beeb insults Russian art by illustrating its story with Picasso's moronic Dryad, as though Western European tripe is all the public wants to see. And still it keeps referring to the Royal Academy of "Art"! It's Arts, plural, you plonkers. By the way, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin's Bathing of a Red Horse (1912) is one of the Russian paintings that will be coming to London ... er ... maybe.
