Vanity Fair Portraits

Valentine's Day - today, in case you hadn't noticed the Google Doodle of a sprightly Darby and Joan - seems a good choice for the opening of the National Portrait Gallery's Vanity Fair Portraits: Photographs 1913 - 2008. Jean Harlow is one of the screen goddesses whose photos graced the covers and pages of Vanity Fair magazine. The exhibition includes 150 pictures by top photographers. It continues until 26 May.
