McTear's Auctioneers in Glasgow has finally managed to flog Peter Howson's ghastly mess Madonna and Guy (2005), which failed to reach it's reserve price of £15,000 recently (CLICK, CLICK). The buyer, who paid more than £15,000 for it, wishes to remain anonymous. I don't blame him! Just in case you missed it, note the solid erection in the background, as subtle as a thick ear.
