Frieze Projects East

The Frieze Foundation has announced that it will curate and produce new public art projects in east London as part of the Cultural Olympiad. Frieze Projects East, commissioned by CREATE and The London 2012 Festival, will encompass Barking & Dagenham, Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. Above is an artist's impression of one of the ... er ... thingies. I'm not sure whether it's a playground or a work of art. It looks a bit unsafe for kiddies.
