Scream Fetches £74m
Edvard Munch's pastel version of The Scream (1895) has become the world's most expensive artwork sold at auction. An anonymous buyer shelled out $119.9m (£74m) for it at Sotheby's in New York (CLICK). A fool and his money.... Think of all the starving children who could be fed with such a large sum of money.

How do you know that the money the seller just recieved didn't donate some of that to charity? Or better yet, invested that money and hired people to work.
Hi, Todd
I understand he's donating all of it to setting up some museum complex in Sweden. But to me that's still a waste of £74m.
Too expensive. It's rubbish. The Mona Lisa's better.
Hi, Andrea
Glad you think so.
