Hollywood Costume

How many of us actually wonder who designed that cute gingham pinafore dress for Judy Garland as Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz (1939)? For the handful who do wonder, the answer is Adrian. On 20 October the Victoria and Albert Museum in London opens Hollywood Costume at the V&A, a festival of over 100 costumes designed for some of the greatest films of all time, including Vertigo, Ben Hur, Some Like It Hot, Taxi Driver, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Titanic. Tickets range from £10.60 to £17.30 (CLICK). Hollywood prices! If you really must know who designed the costumes for Pirates of the Caribbean or any other blockbuster, you can look it up for free on the Internet Movie Database (CLICK).
