Cerne Abbas Giant

Yesterday, for one day only, the Cerne Abbas Giant in Dorset sported a moustache. It was done with the consent of The National Trust, which owns the land and looks after the giant, to publicise Movember [sic] when men grow moustaches to raise money for health programmes that fight prostate and testicular cancer and mental health problems. What better place to mount such a campaign than on a giant fertility symbol? The Cerne Abbas Giant dates back to at least 1694 (CLICK).
