Richard Deacon at Tate

Tomorrow Tate Britain goes all modernistic with Richard Deacon, a retrospective show of his ... er ... intrusive sculptures (CLICK). Turner Prize winner Deacon has been churning out the tripe for forty years and is regarded by the Anti-art Elite as one of Britain's leading sculptors. Groan. Shown is his Fold 2012, a giant sculpture in glazed ceramic that you'll find in the new Manton Entrance. It's prettier than his usual stuff, but still intrusive. This is the first time it's been on public display. Tate Britain expects adults to pay £10 or silver surfers £8.60 to view the show.
