Van Dyck Saved

Sir Anthony Van Dyck's Self-Portrait has been saved for the nation, thanks in no small part to billionaire art collector James Stunt - the son-in-law of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone - who knocked £2.5m off his original asking price and offered it to the National Portrait Gallery in London for £10m. It will be on view at the National Portrait Gallery until the end of August (CLICK).
