Viktor Popkov

Somerset House in London is currently showing Viktor Popkov: Genius of the Russian Soul until 18 June, admission free. This is the UK’s first exhibition entirely dedicated to this award-winning artist, now deceased. It's part of the UK-Russia Year of Culture, which has been overshadowed by President Putin's devious doings in Ukraine. Shown is Popkov's masterpiece Spring at the Depot (1958).
