Fields of Battle

On 4 August HRH The Duke of Kent KG will officially open Fields of Battle Lands of Peace 14 - 18 in St James's Park, central London, to mark the outbreak of the First World War. This is a free, open-air exhibition of 60 magnificent photos taken by landscape photographer and battlefield guide Michael St Maur Sheil over seven years. He shows how the land over which major battles were fought has regenerated since the war. The exhibition, sponsored by The Royal British Legion, runs until Armistice Day on 11 November (CLICK).
