Caroline Watson

Here's another free exhibition. On 23 September The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, opens Caroline Watson and Female Printmaking in Late Georgian England in its Charrington Print Room. Caroline was the first British professional woman engraver. The exhibition marks the two hundredth anniversary of her death in 1814 and displays a selection of her portrait and subject prints.
