Tate Worlds 2
A week ago I previewed Tate's foray into the digital world of Minecraft (CLICK). The website for Tate Worlds: Art Reimagined for Minecraft wasn't up and running then. It is now. CLICK to view a noisy, frenetic video of the virtual worlds on offer. It left me totally unimpressed. Bring back Dungeon Master.

Perhaps you're not the target audience?
My 12 year old son is completely enthralled by it, and now he wants to go to the Tate to see the original paintings the maps are based on.
I think it's an interesting approach.
I guess I'm not the target audience. I've been playing computer games since long before your son was born.
This new approach has certainly hooked him. That's great. See what he makes of the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. That's where the best art is.
I think you'll find the paintings he wants to see in Tate Modern, but best check before you go. You should be able to find them online.
