Marche Republicaine

Yesterday's Marche Republicaine in Paris, a unity rally in tribute to the victims of the Charlie Hebdo massacre, saw an estimated 1.6 million people march from the Place de la Republique to the Place de la Nation and back again by a different route (CLICK). What amazed me were the number of world leaders of different persuasions who saw fit to attend the rally.
