Day and Night

I don't often feature glass on my blog, but the artwork of this pendulette (small clock) is outstanding. It's by René Lalique, entitled Le Jour et la Nuit (Day and Night). It stands 15 inches high and dates from around 1926. Only a few were made in blue glass. So this is extremely rare. It's on show at A.B. Levy's in Palm Beach, Florida.
