One of the free displays at the National Portrait Gallery in London is Aubrey Beardsley: Artist and Aesthete, which is on show until 28 March 2016 in Room 29. The painting is Jacques-Emile Blanche's portrait of Aubrey Vincent Beardsley (1895). A talented and innovative artist, the young Beardsley suffered from consumption (tuberculosis) and died when he was only 25 (CLICK).
