Future City

London's Barbican Art Gallery is showing a nightmare: Future City - Experiment and Utopia in Architecture 1956 - 2006. Utopia! Since when has a nightmare vision of the future been Utopia? Give me an Elizabethan thatched cottage with roses round the door any day. The only reason for visiting this exhibition would be if you were a cover artist paid to illustrate a ghastly alien world. If so, visit these horrors for inspiration until 17 September 2006. May the force be with you. By the way, the Barbican Flash Player 8 nonsense is really boring.
