Holbein in England

Hans Holbein the Younger - Henry VIII (1536)Tate Britain's next biggie is Holbein in England, from 28 September until 7 January 2007. This will be "the largest collection of work by Hans Holbein the Younger to be seen in Britain for over 50 years" claims the no-nonsense blurb. Sounds great. The one major problem is the price: £10 (£8 concessions)! What ever happened to the tradition of letting in children and silver surfers for half price? These greedy fat-cat curators don't want to give any concessions at all. 20% off? Forget it. This punter refuses to be fleeced. Join the club.
