Congratulations to Dame Helen for winning the Coxsoft Art Award For Most Charming Recipient of an Oscar ever. She outshone a herd of Hollywood babes half her age and struck a powerful blow against age discrimination. But that's enough of the artistes. Let's get down to the important stuff. Who or what won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film? Yes, it's Happy Feet! And did you notice that Pan's Labyrinth picked up Oscars for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Make-up? The Honorary Award went to Ennio Morricone.

Thanks for the link. If it has a good graphic, I'll post it later today. I did look for an animated short Oscar on the BBC list, but didn't spot it. Maybe the BBC is still a bit touchy about Danish cartoons! It takes a very politically correct, pro-Muslim stance which is driving the populace into the arms of the British National Party. I keep warning them, but they don't believe me.
