Louvre in Denver

Today saw the opening of Artisans and Kings: Selected Treasures from the Louvre at the Denver Art Museum. This exhibition explores the relationship between French royals - Louis XIV, XV, and XVI - and their craftsmen through 125 paintings drawings, sculptures and furniture borrowed from the Louvre Museum. It's part of a deal between these two museums that will see further major exhibitions in Denver in 2008 and 2009.
