'Deviant Art'

In case you haven't come across the "deviant art" of Trevor Brown (see next post down) click the title link for his website. Warning: this is not for the squeamish. Disturbing images of bondage, sado-masochism, fetishism, blood-letting and child abuse are his stock in trade, but done in a deceptive, refined Manga style. Frustrated by the restrictions of the British art scene, Trevor left England for Japan, a country which offers him greater freedom of artistic expression. (Arts Council England and the Brit. Anti-art Establishment take note.) He exhibits mainly in Tokyo, but also in Los Angeles, Zurich and Bologna. Will we ever see his art shown in London? I doubt it.
