English Pots in Philly

Staffordshire Teapot with pierced decoration (c.1760-65)The Philadelphia Museum of Art has gone potty on English ceramics with an exhibition which opened yesterday and continues until 27 July: Turned and Thrown: English Pottery 1660 - 1820 from Local Collections. If you're into pots, its blurb is unusually informative (title link). The museum is also showing an exhibition organised by London's V&A and shown at the V&A last year to celebrate the centenary of the birth of one of our great photographers: The Art of Lee Miller until 27 April (CLICK).
