Spiel in The Arts

Here's a perfect example of spiel in the arts. Monopol magazine recently described Isa Genzken as "the world’s most important artist". If you make plastic washing baskets or toy cars, yes, because this is what Isa used to create the utter tosh you see before you: Car Park (2008). I had serious doubts about tainting my blog with this tripe, which looks as though it should have "Made in Hong Kong" printed on its bottom (it probably does).
