BP Portrait Award '08
On 12 June the National Portrait Gallery in London will open its doors to the BP Portrait Award 2008. This year nearly 1,750 artists from around the world submitted portraits to the competition in hopes of winning the first prize of £25,000. The exhibition consists of 55 works, including those by the four shortlisted artists: Simon Davis for Portrait of Amanda Smith at Vincent Avenue, Peiyuan Jiang for Untitled, Robert O'Brien for Hannah O'Brien and Craig Wylie for K.
