Richard Kidd R.I.P.

Belated news: Brit. artist and children's author Richard Kidd was swept to his death while swimming below Bataan's Dunsulan Falls last Saturday. According to local police, he was in the Philippines to paint a luxury ship. Ironically, I found this sad item in today's ArtDaily (CLICK) and needed to search the BBC website to confirm the news, which is under BBC Tyne headlined "Tourist dies at island waterfall" (title link). My condolences to his two teenaged daughters, Rachel and Daisy.
