Romualdo Locatelli

Here's an artist whose work I haven't come across before: Romualdo Locatelli (1905 - 1943). This dusky beauty, Young Balinese Girl with Hibiscus, sold for US$773,000 (£531,849) at a recent Christie's Hong Kong sale of Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, a record price for the artist.
