Peppa Pig in USA

Peppa Pig may not be in the same art league as Michelangelo's A Male Nude (below), but she can still be a nice little earner. This British-made animated children's TV series on Channel Five has already generated £200m in Peppa Pig toy sales in the UK. In February Peppa Pig was launched in the USA and quickly made it into the top ten of pre-school TV viewing. Entertainment One (ETO) has now signed a deal with Fisher Price - a subsidiary of toy giant Mattel - to make Peppa Pig toys for the American market. A major part of the success of this show in the UK is the cute voice of young Harley Bird, who does the voiceover for Peppa Pig (CLICK for sample). Do they understand her in the USA?
