Ronald Reagan Statues

Not only is today the Fourth of July - American Independence Day -, but also 2011 is the centenary of former US President Ronald Reagan's birth. So bronze statues of him are popping up everywhere. This 7ft-tall one was unveiled in Freedom Square in central Budapest, Hungary, last Wednesday. Today a 10ft-tall one was unveiled outside the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square, London, opposite the statue of former President Dwight Eisenhower (title link). It cost $1m. So that's where all their unpaid parking fines have been going!
