Hot London news: Slater's award-winning "stunningly seductive" Top Totty Blonde Beer has been banned from the House of Commons Strangers' Bar, because its pump plate offended a feminist Labour MP. Shadow equalities minister Kate Green, MP for Stretford and Urmston, demanded its removal complaining it had "a picture of a nearly naked woman on the tap". The ale has been on sale in the bar since 2007, but within an hour of Ms Green's complaint the tap had been removed and the ale withdrawn from sale (title link). Let's hope the feminist plonker doesn't visit The National Gallery or we'll lose some of the world's finest nudes.
