London Rats

Today I had a desperate plea from the Boris Johnson mayoral campaign warning me that Hugo Chavez, Lee Jasper, George Galloway, Bob Crow and Lutfur Rahman all want Ken to win. (Red Ken, that is.) It's neck-and-neck, scream the headlines. Sorry, Boris; I don't care for scaremongering. Put down those Cheeky Girls and give me one reason I should for vote for any of the fat cats on offer. You're all a waste of space. Not one of you mentioned the plague of brown rats in London.

But what about the rats? London needs a supremo rat catcher, not another overpaid mayor, bouncy or not. When a rat is filmed strolling past No 10 Downing Street, It's a sign we have a massive rat problem here.

We have a ridiculous problem in London with the rats. Let's hope whomever wins makes sure that we do keep weekly bin collections and let's not have a lousy slops bin. We need stronger poisons. Also if Downing Street has a problem then maybe something may be done. Don't they have a cat? They may need a dog.

How many boroughs have slops bins? Too many! Why have them they only encourage rodents. Why can't we have slops bins with holes in for rats and poison in there that would kill them in hours? Brussels you idiots. We want stronger poisons and the mayor should stop slops bins.

Does anyone know how to get rid of a rat? In all seriousness how do you get rid of them as one is under my bed. Poison has been mooted. It takes ages to get someone from the council's list to come down and when they do they can't leave really strong poisons and some of these rodents are immune to them. Please help!

Do I detect a Boris fan or two?

Yes, No 10 got a cat after the rat was seen, but it really wants a Jack Russell terrier. They are rat catchers, bred for it. Cats are mousers. It was a rat seen outside No 10 and it is rats that cause the biggest problem.

Pest control. Rodents have the control over legislation as they haven't got really strong poisons. We need to have weekly bin collections all over the country and no slops bins. The rodents enjoy them. The cats, dogs and foxes are good but aren't enough. We need everything available to eradicate the problem. Will the mayor take note hope so or we should kick him out in 4 years. Congratulations whomever has won!
