Heatherwick at V & A

BBC London News has released a Brenda Emmanus interview with Thomas Heatherwick, the man who designed the spectacular London 2012 Olympic Cauldron (CLICK). The photo above shows the flaming copper petals rising to form the cauldron. Now that the secret of the cauldron is out of the bag, the V&A Museum has added a model of the cauldron to its exhibition Heatherwick Studio: Designing The Extraordinary, which runs until 30 September (CLICK). The new Routemaster bus is another of the Studio's designs. Tickets online cost £6 for adults, £5 for silver surfers.
