Here's the latest photo of Thusha Kamaleswaran
(2012) the youngest victim of gun crime in London. She was only 5 years old when she was shot. I've been following her case because she was gunned down in the London Borough of Redbridge - "A better place to live", claims the Council propaganda - where I also live and at times wish I didn't. Recently BBC London News posted two videos on Thusha's story. The first shows the team of Met. Trident police officers who investigated the case taking on the Three Peaks Challenge
to raise money for care and equipment Thusha now needs (CLICK
). So far they have raised £180,000 for the Thusha Appeal
). The second video shows Thusha as she is now (CLICK
). She spent a year in hospital. It was thought she would be paralysed from the waist down, but she does have some movement in her legs, not enough to walk properly, but there is hope. She is taken to school in a wheelchair.
