Pufferfish Furore

I ran out of doggie artworks for today's theme. So how about a Chinese viewing platform made in the shape of a Giant Pufferfish? It's covered with 8,920 copper plates and cost around £7 million. Built on an island in Yangzhong county in the province of Jiangsu, the viewing platform is 15 storeys high. What can you see from the top? At a guess, half a dozen coolies coughing in their paddy fields. Sina Weibo - China's version of Twitter - has exploded with outrage at this extravagant folly (CLICK).
