Rubber Duck News

Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman's Giant Inflatable Yellow Rubber Duck (2007) got caught in a 6.3-magnitude earthquake in Taiwan's capital Taipei on Thursday evening. Reports are a bit confused, but it seems powerful winds caused the duck's rear end to explode, reducing it to a giant puddle of yellow rubber. Then, when engineers tried to reflate the repaired duck, a power outage caused by the quake shut down the air pump (CLICK). But all is now fixed. CLICK for a video.
