Van Dyck Update

On 15 November I reported that culture tsar Ed Vaizey had slapped a temporary export ban on Sir Anthony Van Dyck's magnificent Self-portrait, which had sold at auction for £12.5 million (CLICK). Ten days later the Art Fund launched a campaign to help the National Portrait Gallery acquire this final Van Dyck self-portrait for the nation. CLICK for a video and more information.
