A week ago I posted a photo of 14-year-old schoolgirl Alice Gross, who is still missing (CLICK). Her mother has since revealed that Alice had recently been diagnosed as anorectic. So this photo of Alice may be closer to her appearance when she vanished. Detectives have been scouring CCTV footage to trace her movements. They confirm she was returning home along the Grand Union Canal when last seen. Her backpack was found on Thursday. Detectives have arrested a man on suspicion of murder and police divers are now searching near the Trumpers Way Canal Bridge, but officers stress this is still a "missing person investigation" (CLICK).
