Anarchy & Beauty

October seems to be William Morris month. On 16 October the National Portrait Gallery in London opens Anarchy & Beauty: William Morris and His Legacy, 1860 – 1960. This major exhibition explores the life and ideas of the great Victorian artist, writer and visionary thinker William Morris, who created the Arts and Crafts Movement. Shown is Frederick Hollyer's photo of William Morris (1884). Sadly, admission charges for this exhibition are for rich punters: £14 adults or £13 silver surfers (CLICK).
