Goya's Witches

On 26 February The Courtauld Gallery opens Goya: The Witches and Old Women Album. This major exhibition unites all the surviving drawings from the Album for the first time. The drawings weren't intended for sale or publication, but to entertain Goya's friends. He gave free rein to his imagination, creating images from the humorous to the macabre.
