Moore's Drawings

Waddesdon Manor, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is showing Henry Moore: From Paper to Bronze until 25 October. This selection of 100 drawings from The Henry Moore Foundation is an eye-opener for anyone who regards Moore as a hyped up peddler of junk sculpture. The man who drew this Sheep with Lamb I (1972) was an undoubted artist. Why did he produce such awful sculptures?
