Local News: 10p book sale
Thanks to weggis, I can post a photo of my local library, in Barkingside High Street, which is holding a 10p book sale tomorrow - Saturday 10 June, 10am to 3pm - to clear shelves for new stock. A book for 10p! Can't be missed. Forget the World Cup. Guess who'll be delving into the art books.

No art books unfortunately, but I filled a bag with books worth having. Believe it or not, I found a signed first edition of a Josephine Cox novel! I don't read her, but a signed first edition of anything is worth grabbing. I also found an Arthur Conan Doyle novel I never knew existed: The Tragedy of the Korosko. So. Not bad. Afterwards I went into Somerfield just as they were pricing down unsold goodies and got more bargains! (5 days shopping for less than £3)
