Heroine whacks tiger!
Here's one for the Guerrilla Girls. In the Sundarbans mangrove forest in south-west Bangladesh, a teenager (18 years old) used an oar to whack a Royal Bengal tiger that had grabbed her husband by the leg and was dragging him away. She beat off the tiger and saved her husband, whose injuries were minor. Wow! Give me a wife like that! Maybe she could scare off the grey squirrel that keeps raiding my nut feeder.

Yup. That's what all the guys want, no matter how old they get. Did you know that research shows that men don't want to marry women older than 25? All these career girls who think they're going to grab a man when they're 30 have got a nasty shock coming.
Oh, hard cheese! And you look so young in your photos too. All I can suggest is get rich, so you can buy yourself a toyboy when you become a silver surfer. Personally, I'm going to buy another Jack Russell terrier when I retire. They're cheaper than wives and almost as fast as grey squirrels.
Cracking little dogs and long-lived: 17 or 18 years. I've had two. The last one passed away a year ago. I still miss her. The next door neighbour fell in love with my first one. She's on No. 3 now. Once you've had a Jack, the rest are just dogs. Nice, but not so much character.
