Sir David at NPG

Sir David Attenborough's photo portrait has been put on display at the National Portrait Gallery in London to mark the end of his 30 years of work on his epic Life series of nature programmes. If you missed the last episode of Life In Cold Blood on Monday, catch the repeat on Sunday: BBC1 4pm. Richard Boll, the photographer, says "...I took over 300 exposures to ensure I got what I wanted." Sounds as though it would have been quicker to paint Sir David's portrait.
