Aimé Maeght & Co

Another exhibition which opens on Saturday is Miró, Calder, Giacometti, Braque: Aimé Maeght and His Artists at the Royal Academy of Arts. It shows about 150 paintings, sculptures, ceramics and prints collected by Parisian art dealer Aimé Maeght. Looks boring and expensive: Adult £10.50, silver surfer £9.50, student £8.50, "Unwaged" £5.50 and so on and so forth. Why not just have two prices - full and 50% - and sack a host of superfluous clerical staff?
