Flemish Masters
This snippet from Pieter Bruegel the Elder's incredibly detailed masterpiece Massacre of the Innocents (1565-7) is one of the paintings in the new exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace: Bruegel to Rubens: Masters of Flemish Painting. This is the first ever exhibition of Flemish paintings in the Royal Collection. It includes 51 works from the 15th to 17th centuries by masters such as Hans Memling, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Jan Brueghel, Van Dyck and Rubens.
