Wang Guangyi

This picture may look like one of those installation thingies, but it's a painting by Chinese artist Wang Guangyi: People Under the Horror (2008). His exhibition Wang Guangyi: Cold War Aesthetics opened yesterday at the Louise Blouin Institute in London and continues until 17 March 2009. It's part of the Louise Blouin Foundation’s "Culture Beyond Borders" series, which tries to persuade us that bad art from other countries is more interesting than our own bad art.
