Kew Gardens Free Day

London's world-famous Kew Gardens will celebrate its 250th anniversary in 2009. To start the celebrations, it will open free of charge on New Year's Day. If you're looking for somewhere to take the kids on the 1st, this is it. If the weather is too nippy for strolling the gardens, warm yourselves in one of the hothouses.
