CT Death Mask

CT Scan Death Mask, I.C. enhanced (2008)Here's a gruesome art start to the new year: the modern hi-tech version of the traditional death mask, using computerised topography (CT). These CT scans show the face of a murdered man whose body was dumped on the hard shoulder of the M45 near Rugby and set alight yesterday afternoon, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. The corpse was so badly burned that its ethnicity isn't yet known. Age? Anywhere between 45 and 75. I've put these CT images side-by-side and lowered the gamma setting, to aid identification. Click the title link to contact Warwickshire Police if you recognize the victim or noticed anything suspicious when the body was dumped. For more information about death masks CLICK.
